How to reach our Sporthotel Kalcherhof in Racines/Ratschings

Arrival by car

From the north: At Innsbruck, take the A13 towards Brennero/Brenner–Bolzano/Bozen. Pass Brennero/Brenner and continue south on the motorway. After about 16 kilometres, exit the motorway at the Vipiteno/Sterzing exit and continue to the first roundabout. Take the thirdexit in the direction of Passo di Monte Giovo/Jaufenpass. After about 3 kilometres, you will reach the small village of Casateia/Gasteig. Turn right here onto the S44 in the direction of Passo di Monte Giovo/Jaufenpass and continue to Calice/Kalch, which you will reach after about 8 minutes. You will find our hotel on the right side of the street.

From the south: Coming from the south, take the A22 towards Brennero/Brenner until you reach the exit Vipiteno/Sterzing. At the first roundabout, take the third exit in the direction of Passo di Monte Giovo/Jaufenpass. After about 3 kilometres, you will reach the small village of Casateia/Gasteig. Turn right here onto the S44 in the direction of Passo di Monte Giovo/Jaufenpass and continue to Calice/Kalch, which you will reach after about 8 minutes. You will find our hotel on the right side of the street.

Free Parking and E-Charging Stations

Our hotel offers a spacious outdoor parking area located directly in front of the buildings for our guests. It is free of charge and easily accessible, therefore no reservation is required.
In addition, guests traveling with an electric vehicle can conveniently charge their car directly at the hotel. We offer 2 E-charging stations with a power output of 11 kW each at a cost of €0.55 per kWh.

Arrival by public transport
The nearest railway station is in Vipiteno/Sterzing. Please note that not all international trains stop in Vipiteno/Sterzing, so it may be necessary to change trains at the Brennero/Brenner or Fortezza/Franzensfeste. Alternatively, you can also travel comfortably with the Flixbus to Vipiteno/Sterzing. During the summer months (15 June to the 10 October), there is a bus connections from Vipiteno/Sterzing to Calice/Kalch (7 times daily). The bus service has been suspended until the end of the season due to roadworks!

We would be happy to pick you up from Vipiteno/Sterzing railway station on request. The service costs €20 and for organisational reasons, we ask you to inform us in advance of the exact pick up times at least 7 days before arrival.
